Trin joined the family business more than a decade ago after completing her Bachelor of Management (Marketing) at the University of South Australia. Travel definitely runs in the Hastwell blood and Trin couldn't imagine doing anything else.

Having travelled extensively through Europe, Asia and the Americas, Trin has visited every continent except for Antarctica – but don't worry, we're sure she'll get there soon! This year she is off to explore the Carolinas (her 8th trip to the USA), Cuba, the Bahamas and South America.

Trin is also a Director on the Board of Travellers Choice, being elected in 2013.

Mark opened the doors of Hastwell Travel & Cruise back in 1991. Originally set up because of his love of travelling it has since grown into well respected and very experienced travel agency with a philosophy of providing great service by knowledgeable staff. Mark has travelled extensively throughout the world and still does!

Mark escorts a small group of likeminded travellers each year and has visited places like Cuba, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Israel, and South America. Mark’s love of food & wine often takes him to places like the Napa Valley, Stellenbosch and the French wine growing areas and he is always on the lookout for something new to try.

Mum always wanted me to be an air hostess, travelling the world, making friends across the globe and eventually marrying the pilot - however it turns out I’m better at the 9 – 5 grind, so the life of a travel agent ensued.

Starting small by handling domestic corporate accounts back in 1994, I’ve made all sorts of travel arrangements since then from simple interstate getaways to epic 6-week European/African surfing safaris. My favourite things are event holidays and I’ve helped arrange numerous weddings overseas, including my own, plus birthdays and reunions.

I dabbled in medical admin during my COVID hiatus however it’s great to be back doing what I was born to do!

I was 18 years old when I applied for my first passport and I remember saying to myself that I was going to fill it with stamps, and that I did! After embarking on a big USA trip and cruise, I knew the travelling life was for me.

Having spent two years on a working holiday in the UK and Europe, I knew I wanted to be a travel agent and have continued to be so for 26 years! I draw on my knowledge and experience to plan once-in-a-lifetime trips for others.

All my trips have been memorable, but my travels to South America, Egypt, Israel and Turkey always hold a special place. I have wanted to give my two daughters every opportunity to see the world too, so we are about to spend two weeks in Vietnam!

Vanessa was introduced to cruising at an early age with a round the world voyage which ignited her love of travel.

In recent years her travels include hosting small group tours and custom itineraries to picturesque New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Canada and Alaska, majestic Norway, Iceland, enchanting France, Japan and the islands of the South Pacific. Vanessa enjoys creating fun and wonderful experiences for her clients that explore all areas of the globe and provide special memories for years to come.

Looking forward to her next adventures, Vanessa likes to incorporate a cruise to unpack once and to enjoy arriving at a new destination each day.
